Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation; Notice of Filing
December 31, 2002.
Take notice that on December 23, 2002, Transcontinental Gas Pipe
Line Corporation (Transco) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas
Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1, Seventh Revised Twenty-First
Revised Sheet No. 28, to be effective December 1, 2002.
Transco states that the purpose of the instant filing is to track
rate changes attributable to storage service purchased

from Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation (TETCO) under its Rate
Schedule X-28, the costs of which are included in the rates and charges
payable under Transco's Rate Schedule S-2. Transco states that this
filing is being made pursuant to tracking provisions under Section 26
of the General Terms and Conditions of Transco's Third revised Volume
No. 1 Tariff.
Transco further states that included in Appendix A attached to the
filing is the explanation of the rate changes and details regarding the
computation of the revised S-2 rates.
Transco states that copies of the filing are being mailed to
affected customers and interested State Commissions.
Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE.,
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed on
or before January 7, 2003. Protests will be considered by the
Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will
not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings. This filing
is available for review at the Commission in the Public Reference Room
or may be viewed on the Commission's Web site at http://www.ferc.gov
using the ``FERRIS'' link. Enter the docket number excluding the last
three digits in the docket number field to access the document.
