ACTION: Notice.

    The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance, the 
following proposal for collection of information under the provisions 
of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35).

DATES: Consideration will be given to all comments received by November 
12, 2004.
    Title And OMB Number: Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation 
Supplement (DFARS) Subpart 215.4, Contract Pricing, and related clause 
in DFARS 252.215; OMB Control Number 0704-0232.
    Type Of Request: Extension.
    Number Of Respondents: 310.
    Responses Per Respondent: 45.
    Annual Responses: 141.
    Average Burden Per Response: 37.94 hours.
    Annual Burden Hours: 5,350.
    Needs And Uses: DoD contracting officers need this information to 
negotiate an equitable adjustment in the total amount paid or to be 
paid under a fixed-price redeterminable or fixed-price incentive 
contract, to reflect final subcontract prices; and to determine if a 
contractor has an adequate system for generating cost estimates, and 
monitor correction of any deficiencies.
    Affected Public: Businesses or other for profit and not-for-profit 
institutions.
    Frequency: On occasion.
    Respondent's Obligation: Required to obtain or retain benefits.
