ACTION: Notice.

    The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance, the 
following proposal for collection of information under the provisions 
of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35).

DATES: Consideration will be given to all comments received by March 
15, 2006.

    Number of Respondents: 5,000.
    Responses Per Respondent: 1.
    Annual Responses: 5,000.
    Average Burden Per Response: 5 minutes.
    Annual Burden Hours: 25,000.
    Needs and Uses: This information collection requirement is 
necessary to obtain and record pertinent information on applicants to 
determine if our recruitment efforts are reaching all segments of the 
country, as required by law. This information is not available from 
other sources. The information is used for evaluating recruitment only 
and plays no part in the selection process.
    Affected Public: Individuals or households; Federal Government.
    Frequency: One-time.
    Respondent's Obligation: Voluntary.
