AGENCY: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DOT.
ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: The FAA invites public comments about our intention to request
the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) revision of a current
information collection. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day
comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of
information was published on March 15, 2006, Vol. 71, No. 50, page
13446. Wildlife strike data are collected to develop standards and
monitor hazards to aviation. Data identify wildlife strike control
requirements and provide in service data on aircraft component failure.

Type of Request: Revision of a currently approved collection.
OMB Control Number: 2120-0045.
Forms(s): AC Form 5200-7.
Affected Public: An estimated 7,133 Respondents.
Abstract: Wildlife strike data are collected to develop standards
and monitor hazards to aviation. Data identify wildlife strike control
requirements and provide in service data on aircraft component failure.
The FAA form 5200-7, Bird/Other Wildlife Strike Report, is most often
completed by the pilot in charge of an aircraft involved in wildlife
collision or by Air Traffic Control Tower personnel, or other airline
or airport personnel who have knowledge of the incident.
Estimated Annual Burden Hours: An estimated 592 hours annually.

Comments are invited on: Whether the proposed collection of

minimize the burden of the collection of information on respondents,
