ACTION: Notice.

    The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance, the 
following proposal for collection of information under the provisions 
of the paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35).

DATES: Consideration will be given to all comments received by January 
16, 2007.
    Title, Form and OMB Number: Women, Infants, and Children Overseas--
Eligibility Determination; OMB Number 0720-0030.
    Type of Request: Extension.
    Number of Respondents: 375.
    Responses Per Respondent: 2.
    Annual Responses: 750.
    Average Burden Per Response: 15 minutes.
    Annual Burden Hours: 188.
    Needs and Uses: The information collection requirement is necessary 
for individuals to apply for certification and periodic recertification 
to receive WIC Overseas benefits.
    Affected Public: Individuals or households.
    Frequency: On occasion and semi-annually.
    Respondent's Obligation: Required to Obtain or Retain Benefits.
    OMB Desk Officer: Mr. John Kraemer.
    Written comments and recommendations on the proposed information
