AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Public Law 92-
463, the Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and 
Development (ORD), gives notice of two meetings of the Board of 
Scientific Counselors (BOSC) Science to Achieve Results (STAR)/Greater 
Research Opportunities (GRO) Fellowship Subcommittee.

DATES: Two public conference calls will be held on: (1) Thursday, 
January 26, 2006 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and (2) Thursday, February 16, 
2006 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. All times noted are eastern time. The 
meetings may adjourn early if all business is finished. Requests for 
the draft agenda or for making oral presentations at the conference 
calls will be accepted up to 1 business day before each conference 
call.

    Participation in the conference calls will be by teleconference 
only--meeting rooms will not be used. Members of the public who wish to 
obtain the call-in number and access code to participate in the

INFORMATION CONTACT section above, by 4 working days prior to each 
conference call.
    Proposed agenda items for the conference calls include, but are not 
limited to: (1) First conference call: charge questions, objective of 
the program review, overview of the Office of Research and Development, 
writing assignments, and future meetings; (2) second conference call: 
overview of STAR/GRO fellowship programs, and preparation for a face-
to-face meeting in March 2006. The conference calls are open to the 
public.
