Standardized and Enhanced Disclosure Requirements for Television
Broadcast Licensee Public Interest Obligations; Extension of the Filing

AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Final rule; correction.

SUMMARY: The Federal Communications Commission is correcting a final
rule published in the Federal Register on March 13, 2008, 73 FR 13452.
The document adopted a standardized form for the quarterly reporting of
programming aired in response to issues facing a television station's
community and a requirement that portions of each television station's
public inspection file be placed on the Internet.
DATES: The rules in this document contain information collection
requirements that have not been approved by the Office of Management
and Budget (OMB). After OMB approval is received, the Commission will
publish a document in the Federal Register announcing the effective
date of the rules.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: In rule FR Doc. E8-5052 published on March
13, 2008, 73 FR 13452 make the following correction.

(i) Issues/programs lists. For nonexempt noncommercial educational
radio broadcast stations, every three months a list of programs that
have provided the station's most significant treatment of community
issues during the preceding three month period. The list for each
calendar quarter is to be filed by the tenth day of the succeeding
calendar quarter (e.g., January 10 for the quarter October-December,
April 10 for the quarter January-March, etc.). The list shall include a
brief narrative describing what issues were given significant treatment
and the programming that provided this treatment. The description of
the programs shall include, but shall not be limited to, the time,
date, duration, and title of each program in which the issue was
treated. The lists described in this paragraph shall be retained in the
public inspection file until final action has been taken on the
station's next license renewal application.
(ii) TV Standardized Public Interest Reporting Form. For
noncommercial educational TV and Class A TV broadcast stations, every
three months a completed Standardized Public Interest Reporting Form
with regard to the station's efforts to determine the issues facing its
community and the programming aired during the preceding three month
period in response to those issues. The form for each calendar quarter
is to be filed by the thirtieth day of the succeeding calendar quarter
(e.g., January 30 for the quarter October-December, April 30 for the
quarter January-March, etc.). The forms described in this paragraph
shall be retained in the public inspection file until final action has
been taken on the station's next license renewal application.
