AGENCY: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DOT.
ACTION: Final rule; correcting amendment.

entitled Performance and Handling Qualities Requirements for

in the regulation to ensure the requirement is clear and accurate.
DATES: Effective June 16, 2008.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Background
On February 29, 2008, the FAA published a final rule (73 FR 10987)
that provided new and revised airworthiness standards for normal and
transport category rotorcraft. The amendment re-designated Sec. 27.79,
as new Sec. 27.87. However, in Sec. 27.25(a)(1)(iv) and Sec.
27.1587(a), we inadvertently made references to Sec. 27.79 instead of
Sec. 27.87 as intended. This document makes the correction to reflect
Sec. 27.87 as the intended reference. This correction will not impose
any additional requirements.
