Information Collection Request to Office of Management and 
Budget; OMB; Control Number: 1625-0109

AGENCY: Coast Guard, DHS.

ACTION: Sixty-day notice requesting comments.

SUMMARY: In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the 
U.S. Coast Guard intends to submit an Information Collection Request 
(ICR) and Analysis to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) 
requesting an extension of its approval for the following collection of 
information: 1625-0109, Drawbridge Operation Regulations. Before 
submitting this ICR to OMB, the Coast Guard is inviting comments as 
described below.

DATES: Comments must reach the Coast Guard on or before May 6, 2008.

Information Collection Request

    Title: Drawbridge Operation Regulations.
    OMB Control Number: 1625-0109.

SUMMARY: The Bridge Administration receives approximately 150 requests 
from bridge owners or the general public per year to change operating 
schedules of various drawbridges across the navigable waters of the 
United States (U.S.). The information needed for the change to an 
operating schedule can only be obtained from the bridge owner and is 
generally provided to the Coast Guard in writing.
    Need: Section 499 of 33 U.S.C. authorizes the Coast Guard to change 
operating schedules for drawbridges that cross over navigable waters of 
the U.S.
    Respondents: The public and private owners of bridges over 
navigable waters of the United States.
    Frequency: On occasion.
    Burden Estimate: The estimated burden remains 150 hours a year.
