Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service
Title: Standards for Privately Owned Quarantine Facilities for
Ruminants.
OMB Control Number: 0579-0232.
Summary of Collection: Under the Animal Health Protection Act, the
Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is authorized among
other things, to prohibit or restrict the importation of animals,
animal products, and other articles into the United States to prevent
the introduction of animal diseases and pests. The regulations in 9 CFR
part 93 govern the importation into the United States of specified
animals and animal products in order to help prevent the introduction
of various animal diseases into the United States.

information to determine if permission will be granted to establish and
operate a private quarantine facility for ruminants: (1) Application
Letter; (2) Compliance Agreement; (3) Daily Log; and (4) Request for
