Intent To Grant an Exclusive License of a U.S. Government-Owned 
Patent

AGENCY: Department of the Army, DoD.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: In accordance with 35 U.S.C. 209(e) and 37 CFR 404.7 
(a)(I)(i), announcement is made of the intent to grant a partially 
exclusive, royalty-bearing, revocable license to U.S. Patent No. 
5,607,979 entitled ``Topical Skin Protectants,'' issued March 4, 1997 
for all fields of use except the field of use involving military 
personnel from the exposure to chemical warfare agents, to Bracco 
Diagnostics, Inc., with its principal place of business at 107 College 
Road East, Princeton, New Jersey 08540.
