DHS Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee

AGENCY: Privacy Office, DHS.

ACTION: Notice of Federal Advisory Committee Meeting.

SUMMARY: The DHS Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee will 
meet on March 18, 2010, in Washington, DC. The meeting will be open to 
the public.

DATES: The DHS Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee will meet 
on Thursday, March 18, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please note that 
the meeting may end early if the Committee has completed its business.

ADDRESSES: The meeting will be held at the US Citizenship and 
Immigration Services Tomich Center, 111 Massachusetts Ave, NW., (corner 
of New Jersey Avenue) Washington, DC 20529. Written materials, requests 
to make oral presentations, and requests to have a copy of your 
materials distributed to each member of the Committee prior to the 
meeting should be sent to Martha K. Landesberg, Executive Director, DHS 
Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee, by March 11, 2010. 
Persons who wish to submit comments and who are not able to attend or 
speak at the meeting may submit comments at any time. All submissions 
must include the Docket Number (DHS-2010-0009) and may be submitted by 
any one of the following methods:

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Notice of this meeting is given under the 
Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), 5 U.S.C. App. (Pub. L. 92-463). 
During the meeting, the Chief Privacy Officer will provide the DHS Data 
Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee an update on the activities of 
the DHS Privacy Office. The Committee will also hear presentations on 
the Department's cyber security efforts. In addition, the Committee's 
subcommittees will discuss their ongoing work. The agenda will be 
posted in advance of the meeting on the Committee's Web site at http://www.dhs.gov/privacy. Please note that the meeting may end early if all 
business is completed.
    If you wish to attend the meeting, please plan to arrive at the 
Tomich Center by 8:15 a.m., to allow extra time to be processed through 
security, and bring a photo ID. The DHS Privacy Office encourages you 
to register for the meeting in advance by contacting Martha K. 
Landesberg, Executive Director, DHS Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory 
Committee, at [email protected]. Advance registration is 
voluntary. The Privacy Act Statement below explains how DHS uses the 
registration information you may provide and how you may access or 
correct information retained by DHS, if any. At the discretion of the 
Chair, members of the public may make brief (i.e., no more than three 
minutes) oral presentations from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you would 
like to make an oral presentation at the meeting, we request that you 
register in advance or sign up on the day of the meeting. The names and 
affiliations, if any, of individuals who address the Committee are 
included in the public record of the meeting. If you wish to provide 
written materials to be distributed to each

preferably in electronic form to facilitate distribution, to Martha K.

Privacy Act Statement: DHS's Use of Your Information

    Principal Purposes: When you register to attend a DHS Data Privacy 
and Integrity Advisory Committee meeting, DHS collects your name, 
contact information, and the organization you represent, if any. We use

such as to confirm your registration, to advise you of any changes in 
the meeting, or to assure that we have sufficient materials to 
distribute to all attendees. We may also use the information you

    Effects of Not Providing Information: You may choose not to provide
