Activity, Request for Comments; Certification: Pilots and Flight
Instructors
AGENCY: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DOT.
ACTION: Notice and request for comments.

SUMMARY: The FAA invites public comments about our intention to request
the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to approve a current
information collection. 14 CFR part 61 prescribes certification
standards for pilots, flight instructors, and ground instructors. The
information collected is used to determine compliance with applicant
eligibility.

Estimated Annual Burden Hours: An estimated 308,350 hours annually.
