Location: The Yuba-Bear Project is located on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada on the Middle Yuba River, Canyon Creek, Fall Creek, Rucker Creek, and Bear River, in Nevada, Placer and Sierra Counties, California. A large portion of the project is located on the Tahoe National Forest. Some of the project is located on federally-owned land managed by the Bureau of Land Management as part of the Sierra Resource Management Area. g.
