If a child less than 6 years of age living in a federally assisted dwelling unit has an environmental intervention blood lead level, the owner shall immediately conduct a risk assessment in accordance with 40 CFR 745.227(d). Interim controls of identified lead-based paint hazards shall be conducted in accordance with Sec. 35.1330. Interim controls are complete when clearance is achieved in accordance with Sec. 35.1340. The Federal agency shall establish a timetable for completing risk assessments and hazard reduction when an environmental intervention blood lead level child is identified. Subpart E [Reserved]
