Upon the request of a party in an Indian child custody proceeding or of a court, the Secretary or his/her designee shall assist in identifying language interpreters. Such requests for assistance should be sent to the Area Director designated in Sec. 23.11(c). The BIA is not obligated to pay for the services of such language interpreters.
