(a) Written ``Statements of Disagreement'' may be furnished by the individual within 30 working days of the date of receipt of the final adverse determination of the Inspector General or the Executive Director for Operations. ``Statements of Disagreement'' must be addressed, as appropriate, to the Inspector General or the Executive Director for Operations, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington, DC 20555, and should be clearly marked on the statement and on the envelope ``Privacy Act Statement of Disagreement''. (b) The Inspector General or the Executive Director for Operations, or their designees, as appropriate, are responsible for ensuring that: (1) The ``Statement of Disagreement'' is included in the system or systems of records in which the disputed item of information is maintained; and (2) the original record is marked to indicate the information disputed, the existence of a ``Statement of Disagreement'' and the location of the ``Statement of Disagreement'' within the system of records.
