(a) If the Office or agency system manager decides not to amend the record in the manner sought, the requester should be notified in writing of the reasons for the denial. (b) The decision letter should also include the requester's right to appeal [[Page 113]] the denial and the procedures for appealing the denial to the appropriate official.
