The Administrative Remedy Program is a process through which inmates may seek formal review of an issue which relates to any aspect of their confinement, except as excluded in Sec. 542.12, if less formal procedures have not resolved the matter. This Program applies to all inmates confined in institutions operated by the Bureau of Prisons, to inmates designated to contract Community Corrections Centers (CCCs) under Bureau of Prisons' responsibility, and to former inmates for issues that arose during their confinement, but does not apply to inmates confined in other non-federal facilities.
