PART 1953--CHANGES TO STATE PLANS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND ENFORCEMENT OF STATE STANDARDS--Table of Contents

                Subpart D--Evaluation Change Supplements

Sec. 1953.30 Definitions.

An evaluation change would be required as a result of an evaluation
finding by the Assistant Secretary. Special and periodic evaluations of
a State program may show that some portion of a State plan has an
adverse impact on the implementation of the State program. Examples of
such evaluation findings would include a report that the public employee
program as approved is not, in operation, providing for a program as
effective as the standards in the approved plan; or that through a
reduction in personnel or funding, the State may no longer have adequate
resources for administration and enforcement of standards.
