(a) Services to readers in the Rare Book and Special Collections Reading Room are provided in accordance with prescribed conditions of reader registration and use of the materials in the custody of the Rare Book and Special Collections Division. The use of such materials is restricted to the Rare Book and Special Collections Reading Room. (b) The professional staff of the Rare Book and Special Collections Division renders reference and bibliographic services pertaining to its collections by telephone, through correspondence, and directly to adult readers in the Rare Book and Special Collections Reading Room.
