Sec. 740.23  Partial delivery of nuts.

    Before delivery is made of the last portion of a lot of nuts covered 
by a nonnegotiable receipt, the receipt itself shall be surrendered. If 
a warehouseman delivers a part only of a lot of nuts for which he has 
issued a negotiable receipt under the Act, he shall take up and cancel 
such receipt and issue a new receipt bearing the same lot number for the 
undelivered portion of the nuts. In addition to showing the information 
required by Sec. 740.18, the new receipt shall also indicate the date 
and number of the receipt which it supersedes.
