Sec. 740.40  Removal of nuts from storage; conditions.

    Except as may be permitted by law or the regulations in this part, a 
licensed warehouseman shall not remove any nuts for storage from the 
licensed warehouse until such receipt is first surrendered and canceled. 
If it becomes absolutely necessary to remove the nuts prior to the 
surrender of the receipts in order to protect the interests of holders 
of the receipts, the warehouseman shall promptly notify the 
Administrator of such removal and the necessity therefor.
