(a) As part of the permanent record of the investigation, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health will retain a complete coal mine dust personal sampler unit, and MSHA will retain a pump unit, that has been tested and certified. Material not required for record purposes will be returned to the applicant at his request and at his expense on written shipping instructions to MSHA or Institute. (b) As soon as a coal mine dust personal sampler unit is commercially available, the applicant shall deliver a complete unit free of charge to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Department of Health and Human Services, Box 4256, 944 Chestnut Ridge Road, Morgantown, WV 26505.
