The Department provides public notice of the sale of bills, notes, and bonds by issuing an offering announcement. The offering announcement lists the specifics of each offering, e.g., offering amount, term and type of security, CUSIP number, and issue and maturity dates. The offering announcement and this part, including the Appendices, specify the terms and conditions of sale. To the extent that the provisions of an offering announcement are inconsistent with the provisions of this part, the provisions of the offering announcement will control.
