(a) Local employment service offices shall refer qualified special disabled veterans and veterans of the Vietnam era to fill employment openings listed by contractors with such local offices pursuant to the mandatory listing requirements of the equal opportunity clause, and shall give priority to special disabled veterans and veterans of the Vietnam era in making such referrals. (b) Local employment service offices shall contact employers to solicit the job orders described in paragraph (a) of this section. The state employment security agency shall provide OFCCP upon request information pertinent to whether the contractor is in compliance with the mandatory listing requirements of the equal opportunity clause.
