The total of the nursing student loans made from the fund to any student for an academic year may not exceed $2,500, except that for each of the final 2 academic years of the program, the total must not exceed $4,000. The maximum amount loaned during a 12-month period to any student enrolled in a school which provides a course of study longer than the 9-month academic year may be proportionately increased.
