In certain situations, a volunteer may have his period of volunteer service extended for not more than one year, at the request of a sponsor and the concurrence of the appropriate ACTION Regional Director. A volunteer may only be reenrolled for a period of at least one year. A sponsor must request the reenrollment and it must be approved by the appropriate ACTION Regional Director. No volunteer may serve for more than a total of five years in full-time volunteer programs under Title I of Pub. L. 93-113. Such extensions and reenrollments may be for the same or different projects and may include interregional and intraregional transfers.
