(a) Registration for employment. Adversely affected workers who have exhausted all rights to UI and who otherwise qualify for TRA under Sec. 617.11, [[Page 128]] shall, except as provided in paragraph (b) of this section: (1) Register for work and be referred to work by the State agency in the same manner as required for EB claimants under the applicable State law provisions which are consistent with section 202(a)(3) of the Federal-State Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970; and (2) Be subject to the work test requirements for EB claimants under the applicable State law provisions which are consistent with section 202(a)(3) of the Federal-State Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970. (b) Exceptions. Paragraph (a) of this section shall not apply to any week an individual is undergoing training approved under this subpart C.
