This subpart prescribes rules that: (a) Apply to the navigation of all vessels at or near a deepwater port; and (b) Describe vessel activities permitted and prohibited in a deepwater port safety zone. Note. Appendix A to this part describes the designated boundaries of U.S. deepwater port safety zones. Included within the safety zones are specific areas to be avoided, anchorages, and other ship's routing measures associated with particular safety zones.
