The definitions in 40 CFR part 401 and the chemical analysis methods in 40 CFR part 136 apply to this subpart. In addition, (a) The term ``cathode ray tubes'' means electronic devices in which electrons focus through a vacuum to generate a controlled image on a luminescent surface. This definition does not include receiving and transmitting tubes.
