Each person who is subject to the reporting requirements of this part must maintain records that document any information reported to EPA. For substances that are manufactured or imported at less than 10,000 pounds annually, volume records must be maintained as evidence to support a decision not to submit a report. Records relevant to reporting during a reporting period described in Sec. 710.33 must be retained for a period of four years beginning with the effective date of that reporting period.
