(a) The person-in-charge of a vessel or facility, that is required by 46 U.S.C. 11301 to have an official logbook, shall maintain the logbook on form CG-706. (b) The person-in-charge of a vessel or facility not required by 46 U.S.C. 11301 to have an official logbook, shall maintain, on board, a logbook for making the entries required by this subpart. (c) The diving supervisor conducting commercial diving operations from a [[Page 437]] vessel or facility subject to this subpart shall maintain a logbook for making the entries required by this subpart.
