Sec. 193.01-5  Equipment installed but not required.

    (a) On all vessels, including non-self-propelled vessels of less 
than 300 gross tons, where fire detecting or extinguishing systems or 
equipment are not required, but are installed, the system or equipment 
and its installation shall meet the requirements of this part.
