(a) Whole blood donors shall meet the criteria for suitability prescribed in Sec. 640.3. (b) Plasmaphersis donors shall meet the criteria for suitability prescribed in Sec. 640.63, excluding the phrase ``other than malaria'' in paragraph (c) (9) of that section.
