Sec. 574.100  Eligible applicants.


    (a) Eligible States and qualifying cities, as defined in Sec. 
574.3, qualify for formula allocations under HOPWA.
    (b) HUD will notify eligible States and qualifying cities of their 
formula eligibility and allocation amounts and EMSA service areas 
annually.
