The term National Union for the Total Independence of Angola, or UNITA, includes: (a) Any entity, political subdivision, agency, or instrumentality of UNITA, including without limitation: (1) The Uni[atilde]o Nacional para a Independencia Total de Angola (UNITA), known in English as the ``National Union for the Total Independence of Angola''; (2) The Forcas Armadas para a Libera[ccedil][Atilde]o de Angola (FALA), known in English as the ``Armed Forces for the Liberation of Angola''; (3) The Free Angola Information Service, Inc.; and (4) The Center for Democracy in Angola (CEDA); (b) Any person or entity substantially owned or controlled by any of the foregoing; (c) Any person to the extent that such person is or has been, or to the extent that there is reasonable cause to believe that such person is or has been, since the effective date, acting or purporting to act directly or indirectly for or on behalf of any of the foregoing; and (d) Any other person determined by the Director of the Office of Foreign Assets Control to be included within paragraphs (a) through (c) of this section.
