Definitions All terms not defined herein shall have the same meaning as given them in the Act. (a) Act means the Public Health Service Act, approved July 1, 1944, 58 Stat. 682, as amended; (b) Service means the Public Health Service; (c) Secretary means the Secretary of Health and Human Services and any other officer or employee of the Department of Health and Human Services to whom the authority involved may have been delegated.
