Sec. 298.22  Processing by the Department.



    After examination of the OST Form 4507 submitted by the carrier, the 

Department will stamp the effective date of the registration on the form 

and return the duplicate copy to the carrier to confirm that it has 

registered with the Department as required by this

part. The effective date of the registration shall not be earlier than 

the effective date of the insurance policy or policies named in the 

certificate of insurance filed by the carrier under Sec. 298.21(c)(2).
