Sec.  410.60  Applicability; description of the carpet finishing 

subcategory.





    The provisions of this subpart are applicable to process wastewater 

discharges resulting from the following types of textile mills: carpet 

mills,

which may include any or all of the following unit operations: 

Bleaching, scouring, carbonizing, fulling, dyeing, printing, resin 

treatment, waterproofing, flameproofing, soil repellency, looping, and 

backing with foamed and unfoamed latex and jute. Carpet backing without 

other carpet manufacturing operations is included in subpart C.
