The following limitations establish the quantity or quality of pollutants or pollutant properties, controlled by this section, which may be discharged by a point source subject to the provisions of this subpart after application of the best available technology economically achievable: (a) The following limitations constitute the maximum permissible discharge for urea manufacturing operations in which urea is produced as a solution product: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Effluent limitations (mg/l) ----------------------------- Average of daily Effluent characteristics Maximum values for 30 for any 1 consecutive days day shall not exceed-- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ammonia (as N)............................ 0.53 0.27 Organic nitrogen (as N)................... 0.45 0.24 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Note: Metric units: Kilogram/1,000 kg of product; English units: Pound/ 1,000 lb of product.
