Sec.  503.30  Scope.





    (a) This subpart contains the requirements for a sewage sludge to be 

classified either Class A or Class B with respect to pathogens.

    (b) This subpart contains the site restrictions for land on which a 

Class B sewage sludge is applied.

    (c) This subpart contains the pathogen requirements for domestic 

septage applied to agricultural land, forest, or a reclamation site.

    (d) This subpart contains alternative vector attraction reduction 

requirements for sewage sludge that is applied to the land or placed on 

a surface disposal site.
