Sec. 425.22 What additional factors does the Secretary consider? (a) After evaluating the applications according to the criteria in Sec. 425.21, the Secretary determines whether the most highly rated applications-- (1) Are equitably distributed throughout the Nation; (2) Offer significantly different approaches to integrating vocational and academic curricula; and (3) Serve individuals described in Sec. 425.3(b). (b) The Secretary may select other applications for funding if doing so would improve the geographical distribution of, diversity of approaches in, or the diversity of populations to be served by projects funded under this program.
