Sec. 870.2330  Echocardiograph.

    (a) Identification. An echocardiograph is a device that uses 
ultrasonic energy to create images of cardiovascular structures. It 
includes phased arrays and two-dimensional scanners.
    (b) Classification. Class II (performance standards).
